You may not think there's a difference between these two, but one key difference separates them. Nightstands typically have at least one drawer, while bedside tables generally do not have a drawer. Technically, drawer
nightstands are a kind of bedside night table. Bedside tables usually are open underneath the top and can display books, vases, plants, and other decorative items.
What can I use to decorate my nightstand?
With a nightstand, you have less space to work with than other types of tables in your home. Choose the knick-knacks you decorate your nightstand with carefully!

generally get away with adding it to your bedroom layout with no problems.
That said, there are differences between nightstands and end tables that you should consider before deciding if you want to buy a nightstand or use an end table in your bedroom. Keep in mind that nightstands offer the
utility of several drawers to store items next to your bed. End tables usually don't have a lot of storage capacity.
