Bassett Return and Cancellation Policy

We hope you love your Bassett furnishings as much as we loved creating them for you. As a custom furniture manufacturer, we work diligently to ensure that every purchase brings a positive experience. It’s also important for you to know what post-purchase options are available to you regarding returns and cancellations, especially because much of our product is customized by you.

Online Returns are accepted for Bed Linens, Cast + Forge Hardware, and Finish Samples

Products

CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Bassett does not accept cancellations or changes on any custom-ordered product after 24 hours of the order being placed. We also cannot accept returns on any custom-ordered/ “Made to Order” product. All custom items will be identified as such on the sales order.

Custom Rugs can only be canceled within 24 hours of the order being placed, and are otherwise not eligible for return.


NON-CUSTOM PRODUCTS

For any non-custom items, Bassett will accept cancellation prior to delivery with a 15% restocking fee. This fee is 15% of the total sale price of the merchandise, excluding tax and delivery.

Non-custom rugs can be returned with a 15% restocking fee within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.


STOCKED NON-FURNITURE ITEMS

All stocked, non-custom accessories can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase. The product must be in new and unused condition.

Clearance and Flash Sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be canceled or returned. Quantities are limited and no price adjustments will be made on prior sales.


BENCHMADE FINISH SAMPLES

Undamaged finish samples may be returned for a full refund within 90 days of purchase. Finishes must be returned in the original packaging. Once returned, you'll receive a full refund via the original purchase method.


NON-BENCHMADE FINISH SAMPLES

These finish samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Mattress Return Policy

We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your Jasmine mattress. That’s why our unique sleep trial offers you the chance to make sure you’ve chosen the right mattress.

Your Jasmine mattress-in-a-box ships directly to your home in the continental US for free. (You’ll carry it in and set it up.) The 90-night trial begins the day your Jasmine mattress is delivered. After at least 60 nights but before 90 total nights have passed, you should contact us if you don’t love the feel of your new Jasmine. You may then select one of the two following options.

  1. Exchange your current Jasmine comfort selection for an alternate Jasmine mattress. Your Jasmine mattress can be exchanged for the opposite Jasmine feel (e.g. soft for firm or the reverse) without an exchange fee. Your replacement Jasmine mattress will be shipped directly to your home.
  2. Return your Jasmine mattress for a full refund. If you decide that the Jasmine mattress is not right for you and don’t want to try another Jasmine comfort option, notify us within the trial period that you want to arrange a return. Once we receive the return of the original mattress, we’ll issue a full refund.
