Cleaning
- To clean, use a soft, lint-free cloth dipped in a small amount of water and mild detergent or stone soap. Rinse the surface area and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use scouring powders or products that contain lemon, vinegar, ammonia, or other acidic and/or abrasive solutions.
Care
- Prior to shipping, the tops are treated with a protective layer. After about a year of use, a sealant should be reapplied.
- Appropriate products for stone protection and care can be purchased from home improvement stores.
- Always protect the surface with coasters, trivets, and placements.
- Avoid contact with alcohol, citrus juices, and other acidic foods, as they will etch or dull the surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent absorption and permanent marks.
