After the first year of the warranty period, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of the repair or installation of covered replacement parts.
After first year, Bassett does not pay for shipping costs to and from the factory on covered warranty items during any portion of the warranty period or after. This is the purchaser’s responsibility. Bassett reserves the right to refuse any claim for service under this limited warranty where the claimant cannot produce a copy of the receipt or such other proof of purchase.

YOUR RIGHTS
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusions and limitations on incidental and consequential damages or the limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
If your furniture is located near a window, it's best to use window treatments to prevent furniture from discoloring. Heating and air outlets will also fade fabrics and leather, as well as damage the fibers over an extended period of time.
Fabric: never take the cushion cover off to clean.
To clean a spill, immediately blot (without rubbing) with a dry, absorbent white cloth. Check the cleaning code (w/s, w or s) on the label underneath the center seat cushion for suggested cleaning methods for the fabric on this Bassett furniture. Use a professional furniture cleaning service when an overall cleaning is needed.
Leather: clean with a soft, damp white cloth.
After wiping clean, gently rub with a soft dry cloth. Never use polishes, oils, ammonia, cleaning fluids, solvents or detergents to clean leather upholstery. The use of these cleaning agents may cause damage and will void the warranty. For professional cleaning and repair contact: Leather Solutions 1.866.875.7446
For preventative maintenance instructions on care and conditioning, please contact Leather Solutions upon receipt of your furniture.
Rotate and fluff seat and back cushions regularly. Vacuum regularly with upholstery attachment.
This will prevent the cushion core from wearing prematurely, will preserve the fabric color and control welt slippage. Although dust may not be apparent, it settles into your upholstery and may not only make it dirty, but may eventually damage the fibers if not removed.
